Events

School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

K-6 Principal Assemblies

At Gymea North PS. our whole school assemblies are a special time for students, staff, and families to come together and celebrate learning, achievements, and school spirit. Held twice each the term, assemblies feature Silver and Gold level awards, important announcements and performances.

Families are warmly invited to attend and share in the successes of our school community.

Book Week

Book Week is a special time at our school where we celebrate a love of reading. Students are invited to dress as their favourite literary character for our Book Parade held every second year. In opposite years, we celebrate the coming together books foster and our year 6 students read a book special to them to our younger students.

Open days

Our school hosts various open day throughout the year providing an opportunity for students, parents and carers to get to know our school and to showcase our students' work.

Teddy Bear's Picnic

Our kindergarten students enjoy their annual Teddy Bear's Picnic - even when it rains!

Sports Carnivals

Every year the school Swimming, Cross Country and Athletics carnivals are held. Students showcase their sporting prowess and can qualify for Zone, Regional and State carnivals.
